Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 marked an exciting new chapter for Social Spaces as we officially opened the doors to our brand-new showroom. Designed for people at its core, the space came to life across three days of connection, conversation, and celebration.
From the very beginning, the atmosphere was exactly what we had envisioned: welcoming, vibrant, and effortlessly social. It was a space where design met experience and where visitors were encouraged not just to explore, but to stay.
A Week of Social Moments
We kicked things off on Tuesday morning with our Social Breakfast. Guests joined us for pastries, juices, and a relaxed introduction to the showroom, meeting the team and experiencing the space in a calm, informal setting. It set the tone perfectly. Open, friendly, and people focused.
Wednesday saw the official Opening Party take center stage. With a live DJ, cocktails, and pizza flowing throughout the evening, the showroom transformed into a lively hub of energy and interaction. It was a true celebration of what Social Spaces is all about: bringing people together through thoughtful design.
On Thursday, we hosted the launch of Havana alongside Jo Day. This more intimate session gave guests the opportunity to hear firsthand insights behind the collection and explore its design up close. It was a moment to slow things down, engage more deeply, and connect with the story behind the product.
The Social Space Bar Takeover
Extending beyond the showroom, we transformed Clerkenwell & Social into The Social Spaces Bar, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about spots of the week.
Visitors to our showroom received tokens, which they could redeem at the bar for complimentary drinks, from cocktails to beer and wine. This simple idea created a seamless connection between spaces, encouraging movement, interaction, and a sense of shared experience across Clerkenwell.
The result was exactly what we set out to achieve: one of the most social bars of the year, buzzing with conversation and connection.
